You can compare them on price and you will find that varies, but you need to also look at how the loan works to choose the one that will be best for you. You should also compare different lenders as you will find that they will vary a lot in price. You will find that some lenders will be a lot dearer than others and so you can compare and pick the cheapest one. Do be careful though as there could be a reason that they are cheaper, perhaps because they do not provide everything that another lender does. Therefore, make sure that you compare them on lots of different things and make the choice of the lender that looks like it will provide the best value for money.
Repay on time – it is really important to make sure that you repay your loan on time for a number of reasons. However, if the cost of the loan is the most important thing for you then this is key. This is because you will need to pay extra if you miss a repayment. All lenders will have some sort of fee or charge that you will have to pay, on top of what you are paying already if you miss a repayment. This can be really high and so it will mean that you loan will not be cheap if you do this. Therefore, make sure that you are confident that you will be able to make all of the repayments before you take out the loan. To do this you may need to do some calculations. Look back at previous bank statements and look at how much you earn and how much you pay out on necessary items. This is things like rent, loan repayments, tax, contracts, utilities, food etc. Then take one from the other and see whether there is enough left to cover the cost of those loan repayments. If it is not enough then you will need to consider borrowing less money or trying to reduce how much you pay for things or seeing if you can earn more in order to make up the shortfall.
