There will be a variety of activities available to members in the year ahead.

The Spring Talks Programme and other events are shown here below

Our programme of talks for the year ahead is focussed on the lives of Balcombe people (past and present), their work and their activities for the village and beyond.

On Wednesday 19th January, Penelope Greenwood will give an illustrated talk on “The Balcombe Estate.”  This will include the Estate, Family, Balcombe Place, Stone Hall, Farms, Woodlands and Finances.  Support will be given by four Heads of Departments taking part and to answer questions.  The Talk will be held at the Victory Hall at 8.00pm.  Tickets at the door are for members £1 and visitors £3.  Refreshments are available – everyone is welcome.

The 2011 Annual Programme will be available.  Annual subscriptions are due - £10 for doubles, £6 single membership.

The Railway Study Group is starting a new search for photographs and memorabilia from families and friends who worked on the railway at Balcombe.  If you can help, please contact either – Rob McIntyre (811 732), Alan Dearden (811 989) or David Fellows (811 567).
