Rubbish Collection December 2009

As you can imagine it’s a difficult time for us. Serco will not risk a freighter skidding. Today is the first day we have been able to get safely out since Thursdays collections. Serco are collecting from roads on which they feel confident and keeping a note of what hasn’t been done. We also have 3 days worth of collections to catch up on as we were meant to be out on Saturday doing the first of the Xmas collections.

Please rest assured that all bins will be emptied but we cannot guarantee when. Please ask people to bear with us and to leave their bins out. It is likely that we will now also be working on Boxing Day bank holiday to clear the back log.
