Royal British Legion

The Royal British Legion is the UK's leading charity providing financial, social and emotional support to millions who have served and are currently serving in the Armed Forces, and their dependants. The national website is www.britishlegion.org.uk

Local members of the Royal British Legion meet informally several times a year.

Details of Meetings

Members meet throughout the year (except during July and August). Typical activities include:

Fish & chips and bingo at the social club, monthly; Xmas dinner/lunches at the Balcombe tea room; coffee morning on the Saturday a week before Armistice Sunday; Christmas dinner in mid December at the Social Club.

The branch also participates in the village fete, and a bowls match is arranged with the local bowls club.
