Handcross Car Thefts

Yesterday at approximately 12:30 a 4x4 was stolen from High Street, Handcross. The owner was inside a shop when the theft occurred but had left the keys inside the vehicle.

On 13th January 2010 at 12:40 a 4 x4 Mercedes was stolen from outside KWG in High Street, Handcross. The vehicle had been left unattended with the keys in the ignition. A green 'P reg' Vauxhall Vectra was seen in the area and may be connected. If you have any information that will assist us with our enquiries, please contact us quoting serial 833 of 13/1/10.

Please ensure that you secure your vehicle when you leave it unattended, even when on your own drive or in your garage. Also, do not leave any valuables on display.
