Footpaths & Countryside Association

The group was formed in 1990 and has carried out many and varied tasks within the Parish of Balcombe associated with footpaths.

Social events, strolls, coffee mornings, craft exhibitions and of course longer walks have all been successfully held over the past thirteen years.

Details of Walks

All walks start from the Victory Hall Balcombe.

Car sharing to venues is arranged on the day

Saturday walks start at 10.00am. Sunday walks start at 2.00 pm.

Longer Saturday walks usually take in a pub lunch (most important) and it is usually possible to arrange for those who do not wish to walk in the pm to stop then.

Dogs are usually allowed if they are well behaved and on leads.

All walks are advertised in the Balcombe Parish Magazine and also in The Village Voice of the Mid Sussex Times. For those who do not live in Balcombe, a walk list is posted.
