Bowls Club

Bowls Club

Come and visit Balcombe's Bowls Club, next to the recreation ground. Friendly and diplomatic, we've been going since 1921. We now have six rinks, 40 plus players and several social members. New members and visitors are assured of a warm welcome.

We are run by an elected committee, and a 'do it yourself mentality'. (We keep our own green and clubhouse in tip-top order). Over the winter some of our members have worked hard on a new ceiling and new lighting in the pavilion, and work continues with outside maintenance.

The green is available to members any time with permission of the green keeper.

After the 2009 season, when we were rained off a few times, we look forward to the 2010 season which starts in April.

We have a coffee morning at Christmas on November 20th in the Parish Rooms, from 10am to noon.
More information later on the Home page.
