Balcombe Parish Plan Action Group

The steering committee held its seventh monthly meeting on 28th November and is due to meet again on 16th January.

Each team gave a brief report on their analysis of the text box responses. 2 pages of the Plan would be allocated to each team report.

Teams will share collected information and collect quotable comments for the Plan. Questionnaires will be deposited in an archive.

A report based on the Young Person's Questionnaire was read out.

Prizewinners of the school competition were announced. All entries will be displayed at the launch event.

A report on the Local Organisation Questionnaire was read out. Copies to be sent to the organisations involved.

The launch event will take place in the Victory Hall on Saturday 24th February.

A volunteer has been found to design the Plan document and another to provide photographs. Sponsors were considered, in order to reduce costs; their adverts will be placed on the back page.

Preliminary plans for the launch event were considered.

The Parish Council will convene a special meeting to consider how it will take forward the Plan's proposals.
