Balcombe Parish Plan Action Group

It was confirmed that a week after the launch event the Parish Council (PC) were holding a special meeting to discuss the Action Plan Report and how to progress and will be providing a report in April on how the issues raised will be proceeding.  Therefore there will be no formal response to the report contents at the launch event itself.

 

Airtech have sponsored the production of the Action Plan in the sum of £600, in return for advertising.

 

Arrangements were made for the proof reading and printing of the Plan.

 

21 voluntary organisations will be invited to the launch event anticipating around 15 to attend on the day. The WI has agreed to undertake the refreshments.

 

The Victory Hall has been booked and preliminary arrangements made for stands and attendants.

 

Publicity for the event will include a note in the Parish magazine, posters, letters to the parents of children at Balcombe School, newspaper article.

 

A number of local representatives such as our local MP will be invited to the launch event.

 

The first draft of the Parish Plan document has been completed. Deadlines were set for final revisions.
